According to some estimates, Americans use between 350 and 500 million straws a day. Many of these straws end up in the sea after use, where they decompose into dangerous microplastics. Straws are often mistaken for food, leading marine animals to swallow them, which sometimes leads to death.
There’s a big difference between living in a place that you simply seek shelter in, and living somewhere where you really feel at home in. This is especially true in rentals. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to establish yourself somewhere that you know you won’t be in for more than a year or two, or somewhere that is a far cry from your own taste or style.
