Airborne particles are drawn into the purifier by the fan and then pass through a plasma field which generates ions that electrically charge air pollutants within the air purifier so that they can be separated in the subsequent collector. In this way, pollutants even as small as 0.01 micrometers (microns) can be removed from the air. This is similar to an ionization field, but OneLife has rebuilt this process from scratch in order to ensure no harmful Ozone is added to the air during the process. This is where nearly all of our patent claims are involved. One patent has been published thus far (WO2021185418A1) with the remaining patent claims soon to be approved and published..    

No. The OneLife X does not generate any harmful ozone as a by-product. OneLife based its idea on the electronic filtering systems used in commercial applications and developed this in a revolutionary way,Ions generated in a plasma field electrically charge the dust particles and then deposit them in a collector unit. We are able to filter out almost all particles (including fine particulates) without generating any harmful ozone.

HEPA filters were developed in the 1940s. The basic technology has not advanced since that time. The filters used generally consist of a plastic or fiberglass mesh and need to be replaced periodically, which leads to waste. Standard HEPA filters can remove up to 99.97% of particles from the air. The plasma filter of the OneLife X, by contrast, captures 99.99% of particles without ever having to be replaced. For HEPA filters, The finer the filter fabric, the more energy is needed to force the air through it, which makes the appliance even louder and more costly to run the OneLife X plasma filter on the other hand, can remove even the tiniest particles, down to 0.01 microns (30% smaller than HEPA filters that claim 99.97% efficacy rate)

The OneLife X captures air particles, including viruses, in our filter, which results in any bacteria or virus that is carried by an aerosol becoming deactivated very quickly because they dry out. This renders the virus/bacteria inactive. 

Yes. The OneLife X, which can filter particles down to 0.01 micrometers, easily filters out smoke which ranges from 0.4 - 0.7 microns in size. Even if you can’t perceive the presence of smoke, the precision sensor of the OneLife X does by continuously monitoring the air for concentrations of air pollutants. If they reach a dangerous level, the air purifier starts up automatically and gives you a warning. 

The OneLife X reduces hazardous pollution from allergenic particles. Most allergy-causing particles are quite large when it comes to airborne pollutants, ranging in sizes from 2.5 microns to 10 microns - easy targets for the OneLife X to capture. By filtering out house dust, mold, pet dander and pollen, it helps to alleviate allergy symptoms like sneezing, stuffy nose, itchy and watery eyes. 

Yes, the OneLife X can filter out pet dander, which can range in size from 2.5 to 100 microns. 

As the OneLife X supplies clinically pure air, it protects your baby from all types of harmful airborne pollutants. No, Unlike dust particles, formaldehyde is a gas and therefore cannot be charged. This is where our carbon filter comes into place. It ensures that in addition to all the particles, all odors and gases get absorbed from your air. Gases will get trapped and retained inside the activated carbon to provide you with clean air without any bad odors.

You treat it well, it will treat you well. How long the filter lasts depends on how well you look after it. Use caution when handling it. The internal components of the filter unit are delicate. If you wash it regularly and clean it carefully, it can last a lifetime without ever needing to be changed. This saves not only additional waste, but also ongoing costs for our customers.

The collector can be cleaned simply by rinsing it under running water or putting it in the dishwasher (at up to 185°F). Allow the filter unit to dry completely before placing back into the unit for use. 

The required frequency of cleaning depends on the amount of pollution in the environment. Our intelligent control system will let you know when it’s time for cleaning via the red LED of the filter change indicator.

No, the particles and viruses stick to the filter and are neutralized. These solids can then simply be washed away without returning to the ambient air. You should nonetheless handle the filter unit carefully when you take it out and wash it.

The OneLife X consumes just 5 - 6 watts per hour on average. If the air purifier runs for 24 hours per day, its consumption is around 144 watts (0.14 kilowatts). It therefore costs less than $20 per year to run. Comparable HEPA air purifiers consume at least twice this amount.
